London, 22 March 2013. The Chancery is delighted to announce that the Delegation has been informed by the Grand Magistry in Rome that the Grand Prior, His Eminence Renato Raffaele, Cardinal Martino, will travel to London to participate in a series of high profile events to mark the 150th anniversary of the Italian Church in Britain.
On Monday 29 April 2013 at 7pm (Robing from 6:30pm), the Constantinian Order, as an Order of Knighthood recognised by decree of the President and Government of the Italian Republic, has been invited to process at a special mass to mark the 150th anniversary of St Peter’s Italian Church at 136 Clerkenwell Road, London EC1R 5EN.
Our Grand Prior, Cardinal Martino will join Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, the Archbishops of Westminster and Cardiff and the Apostolic Nuncio to the Court of St James’s at this historic event. I would be pleased if you could indicate whether you are able to attend this event. Places are very limited and preference will be given to members of the Order who own mantle capes.
