The Duke of Calabria invests new Irish knights at Cathedral ceremony. London - November 2001.

The Duke and Duchess of Calabria during their visit to Great Britain from 7-9 November 2001 invested several new Irish knights and dames into the Sacred Military Constantinian Order and the Royal Order of Francis I. They included HE Michael Joseph McDonnell(right), Lieutenant of the papal Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Ireland; Professor Richard Conroy(below), a former Senator of Ireland, Gerard Lawler and the Rev Feargal McGrady from Belfast.The ceremony was held at Westminster Cathedral in Central London.

HE The Lord Belhaven and Stenton, Delegate, Anthony Bailey, Delegate, and the Rt Rev George Stack, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster and Prior of the British and Irish Delegation, attended. Over 150 other knights, dames and their guests were present including Irish and British parliamentarians and eleven Ambassadors, High Commissioners and diplomats accredited to Ireland, the Court of St James's and the Holy See.
