London, 8 September 2019.  Through the kind offices of Rt Rev Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Bishop of the Armenian Church in the United Kingdom, a delegation of knights, dames and supporters attended the world premiere of “Armenia Uncovered at the Mayfair Theatre at the Mayfair Hotel in London.

Award-winning entertainer and comedian Kev Orkian presented to the assembled guests a fun-filled journey across Armenia – the oldest Christian country in the world  – renown for its  hospitality, rich history and unique culture. The film travelled through the many ancient and beautiful towns of Armenia and Artsakh, which illustrated the diverse religious architecture and breathtaking landscapes. Following the showing a Q & A session was held and a reception.

 

Among those attending were Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland Anthony Bailey, who recently returned from a visit to Armenia together with His Eminence Archbishop Athanasius Toma Dawod, Mr James Drabble, Mr Kevin Grant, Mrs Clare Head and Mrs Elizabeth Thornborough.
