London, 11 October 2019. The Constantinian Order enjoys excellent relations with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The British and Irish Delegation count among our active delegation chaplains, Rt Rev Bishop Hlib Lonchyna and the Most Rev Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski.

The gala dinner took take place at  Church House, Westminster London SW1 and was hosted by Rt Hon Earl of Oxford & Asquith OBE. The evening included a musical performances and key note speakers from Britain and Ukraine including Lord Oxford and the Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain, HE Mrs Natalia Galibarenko.

Among the delegation knights and dames attending were the Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland, Anthony Bailey OBE,  Mr Kevin Grant, Mrs Clare Head, Mr Gerard Lawler, Dr Peter Löw, Mrs Elizabeth Thornborough, Dr Charles Tannock and Mr John Turley.

At the invitation of the Church, the British and Irish Delegate, Anthony Bailey travelled out to Lviv and to Kyiv to see at first hand the remarkable work this Catholic institution plays in Ukraine and Britain. Over £130,000 was raised on the occasion which will be used to fund scholarships for students and stipends for scholars and lecturers.
