On the occasion of Easter and the Feast of St George, Patron Saint of our Sacred Military Constantinian Order, the Chancery has pleasure in forwarding you a message issued by His Eminence Renato Raffaele Cardinal Martino, Protodeacon of the Holy Roman Church and Grand Prior on the Order.
The Chancery also reminds our delegation members of our Order’s daily prayer and ask you to especially remember on our feast day all our deceased knights and dames and those that are sick or in need of our prayers. Please remember especially Sir Desmond de Silva QC and Sir Conrad Swan who passed away in recent months.
The truly painful and horrific attacks on the faithful in Sri Lanka and New Zealand have shocked the world. It is becoming an all too familiar sight and I ask that you remember in your daily thoughts and prayers all the victims and the families affected by such tragedies.
In conclusion, may I extend in the name of the delegation’s Cardinal Prior, Sub-Prior and Council of the British and Irish Delegation, my heartfelt good wishes to all members, friends and supporters for St George’s Day 2019.
