Sicily, September 2017. 
HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon of  Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, paid a visit to a number of charitable projects in the city of Noto, Sicily from 22 to 24 September 2017 accompanied by his wife, HRH Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro and their two daughters, HRH Princess Maria Carolina and HRH Princess Maria Chiara. The activities were focused around families in need and schools.

The Grand Master, accompanied by HRH Princess Beatrice, Grand Prefect of the Constantinian Order, donated three defibrillators to the State Achievement Institute “Giuseppe Melodia” of Noto on behalf of the Constantinian Order. This donation is part of a larger project entitled “Cardio Protected City” which began last year and involved many Italian delegation. The project aims to increase the number of defibrillators available in the region and reduce mortality rates caused by cardiac arrest.

The Grand Master purchased school textbooks for all students of the “Giuseppe Melodia” Institute as part of the “Good Books” project, and donated games for preschool children. 

On 24 September 2017, following a Mass celebrated by HE Archbishop Antonio Staglianò, Bishop of Noto, Knight Commander of Ecclesiastical Grace of the Constantinian Order, a ceremony was held at the Cathedral of Noto to deliver diplomas to new knights and dames of the Order. HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro confirmed his daughter HRH Princess Maria Chiara will also hold the title the Duchess of Noto.
