cross_constantinianLombardy – June 2003. The Constantinian Order’s Delegation in Lombardy, headed by Prince Augusto Ruffo of Calabria, organised its yearly May pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Oropa. For the occasion, Constantinian knights and dames from across Northern Italy, accompanied over one thousand elderly people from many nursing homes receiving support from the Order to the sacred shrine. The solemn Eucharistic Celebration, was celebrated by the Constantinian Clergy of the Delegation, presided over by Cardinal Pompedda, the Order’s Grand Prior, in the presence of the Bishop of Biella, His Excellency Bishop Gabriele Mana, and by the Bishop of Asti, His Excellency Francis Guido Ravinale. After the celebrations there was a visit to the museums of the Sanctuary and a breakfast offered to the elderly guests by the Constantinian Order.
