London, November 2014. A moving spiritual recital in aid of Iraqi Christians was celebrated by Delegation member His Eminence Archbishop Athanasius Toma Dawod, GCFO, at St Thomas’s Syriac Orthodox Cathedral on 1 November 2014.
Council Member Mr Kevin Grant, KMCO, KFO, represented the British & Irish delegation whilst many other knights and dames showed their support by donating towards this important cause. A fundraising dinner was held in the church hall after the recital to raise funds for the purchase of blankets for Iraqi Christians displaced from their home.
Among present were also the Sub-Dean of Westminster Abbey, The Rev Canon Andrew Tremlett.
