London, November 2011. The Delegate HE Mr Anthony Bailey and HSH Princess Marie-Therese von Hohenberg attended a reception and dinner held in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh at the Crosby Hall in London on Tuesday 15 November 2011 to mark the 70th Anniversary of The Council of Christian and Jews.

Among others attending were The Chef Rabbi Lord Sacks, Archbishop Emeritus Kevin McDonald of Southwark, The Rt Hon Francis Maude MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office & Paymaster General. The dinner was hosted by Mr Christopher Moran, Vice Chairman of the Council.

The Council of Christians and Jews was established to promote religious and cultural understanding between Christians and Jews; to work for the elimination of religious and racial prejudice, hatred and discrimination particularly anti-Semitism and to promote religious and racial harmony on the basis of the ethical and social teachings common to Christianity and Judaism.

The Constantinian Order is currently funding an inter-religious programme with the Council of Christians and Jews aimed specifically at Catholic-Jewish Relations.
