Swansea, December 2008. The British and Irish Delegation was represented by HE Anthony Bailey, Grand Magistral Delegate for Inter-Religious Relations at the Instalment of the Rt Rev Thomas Burns, as the new Bishop of Menevia.

The Installation Mass took place at the Cathedral Church of St Joseph in Swansea, Wales. Bishop Burns, who is a active chaplain to the British and Irish Delegation of the Constantinian Order, previously served as Roman Catholic Bishop to HM Armed Forces in the UK. Among the hundreds attending the Mass were the Archbishops of Westminster, St Andrews & Edinburgh and Cardiff.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Great Britain officially represented the Holy Father at the events which were also attended by leading ecumenical, civic and military leaders from across Britain.
