Delegation members attend farewell party for Irish AmbassadorLondon – July 2007. A number of knights and dames of the British and Irish Delegation attended the farewell party for the Irish Ambassador to the Court of St James’s His Excellency Mr Dáithí O”Ceallaigh. The reception was held at the Irish Embassy in London and among those attending were HE Anthony Bailey, Grand Magistral Delegate for Inter-Religious Relations, The Rt Hon Baroness Scotland of  Asthal, QC, John Kennedy CBE, DL, and Dr Colin Smythe.

Ambassador O”Ceallaigh was invested at a Knight Commander of Merit with Star of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George in November 2003. His Excellency will shortly take up post in Geneva as the senior Irish diplomatic representative to the UN and WTO.
