Cardiff – October 2011. His Grace The Most Reverend George Stack, Archbishop of Cardiff, received the insignia of an Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George. This high award was granted to Archbishop Stack in recognition of his ten year service as the Sub-Prior of the Order’s British and Irish Delegation. The Archbishop, who was first invested in October 2001, previously held the rank of Ecclesiastical Knight Commander of Grace.
Archbishop Stack was invested with his insignia at a special investiture ceremony held at Westminster Cathedral. The Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Castro, and the Grand Prior, His Eminence Renato Raffaele, Cardinal Martino, presided over the ceremony which was attend by over twenty five members of the Delegation including the Delegate, Vice-Delegate and other members of the Delegation Council.
