London, March 2016. The Delegation notes and welcomes His Excellency Mr Renato Carlos Sersale di Cerisano as the new Argentine Ambassador to the Court of St James’s since 10 March 2016.

His Excellency is a Knight of Justice of Sacred Military Constantinian Order since 1997. The newly appointed Ambassador will be welcomed by the British and Irish Delegate of the Order, Anthony Bailey in an meeting to be held in London in late April 2016.

Ambassador Sersale di Cerisano is an economist from the University of Buenos Aires, has a post-graduate at Master Level (MIA) from Columbia University in New York and holds a Doctoral title from the University of Salvador in Buenos Aires.

His Excellency began his diplomatic career in 1979 and until the end of 1980 was posted to the Department of Regional Groups at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Buenos Aires, where he participated in the reform process of ALALC (currently ALADI) and assembling integration programmes and regional cooperation with countries in South America and Caribbean.

From January 2006 until late 2015, His Excellency was resident Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa and non-resident Ambassador to Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
