This is a compact disc recording of the Constantinian Order's concert which was held in Monaco in October 2001 to raise funds for St Vincent's Hospital - the closest trauma centre to the World Trade Center. Following the terrorist atrocities across the United States of America on 11th September 2001, the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George once again rose to its ancient calling of hospitaller and humanitarian work and organised the concert of 18th century Neapolitan sacred music. This unique event was held in the Cathedral of Monaco in the presence of His Serene Highness Prince Rainier III, Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Monaco and HRH The Duke of Castro, Grand Master of the Constantinian Order. This moving tribute by the Conseratoire de musique San Pietro a Majella de Naples, captures so well the moment when the world stood still. This is the latest comprehensive history book of the Grand Magistry of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George. Its distinguished author, the late Professor Ettore Gallo, Honorary President of the Constitutional Court of the Italian Republic, has published in April 2002 this excellent and detailed account of the history and contemporary role of the Constantinian Order. The hardback book also contains a foreword by His Eminence Mario Francesco, Cardinal Pompedda, Grand Prior of the Constantinian Order and Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Segnatura.
