Duke and Duchess of Calabria visit The Passage homeless centre in London’s Victoria2London – June 2002. The Duke and Duchess of Calabria paid a visit to The Passage Homeless Centre – one of the adopted charities of our Delegation. During Their Royal Highnesses visit they met with Sister Ellen Flynn, Director, and many members of her team.

The Duke and Duchess also took the opportunity to tour the impressive facilities of the centre, which was founded by the late Cardinal Hume, Archbishop of Westminster. This Duke and Duchess of Calabria visit The Passage homeless centre in London’s Victoria1included visits to the kitchens, clothing centre and waiting areas where Their Royal Highnesses met with numerous volunteers helping out and clients benefiting from this much needed support centre.

The Duchess of Calabria remarked ‘It is truly impressive what Sister Ellen and her team are doing here to assist the homeless of London. I am particularly pleased that the British and Irish delegation is supporting The Passage as one of its adopted charities’.
