Naples, June 2012. Over 50 new knights and dames were invested into the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George as a ceremony held on 25 June 2012 at the Basilica of Santa Chiara in Naples, southern Italy.

A solemn Eucharistic mass was celebrated by the Grand Prior of the Order, His Eminence Renato Raffaele, Cardinal Martino, in the presence of the Grand Master of the Order, HRH Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, and wife HRH Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro.

Among those invested were senior military, civil, religious and aristiocratic figures from the city of Naples and Salerno. Among the Knights of Justice were Don Francesco de Giovanni dei Principi di Santa Severina, Don Giuseppe Carignani dei Duchi di Novili, Don Cesare Sanfelice di Bagnoli, dei Marchesi Bagnoli.

Admiral Rinaldo Veri was appointed as Knight Grand Cross of Merit and HE Prefetto Dott. Mario Volpe di Prignano a Knight of Merit with Star.

The ceremony was organised by the Order’s Delegate in Naples and Campania, Marquis Pierluigi Sanfelice Bagnoli.

Before the investiture mass, the Duke and Duchess of Castro and Cardinal Martino were received at the Town Hall of the City of Salerno during which the Mayor of the city was invested in the Constantinian Order.
