London, 28 April 2013. The Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland, HE Mr Anthony Bailey, represented the Constantinian Order at a special mass concelebrated by the Archbishop of Westminster, The Rt Rev Vincent Nichols, to mark the Anniversary of Bull Pie Postulatio Voluntais which established the Sovereign Military Order of Malta as an independent Order.
The Delegate, who was accompanied by his wife, HSH Princess Marie-Therese von Hohenberg, later attended a reception at Westminster Cathedral Hall during which he extended the warm wishes of the Constantinian Order in Britain and Ireland on this auspicious occasion to the newly elected President of the British Association of the Order of Malta, HE Mr Richard Fitzalan Howard.
The Constantinian Order and the Order of Malta continue to this day to enjoy a close cooperation over several centuries.
