In June 2013, a special investiture ceremony took place in London that marked the formal exchange of honours between the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George and the Republic of Colombia. These awards and formal support were given in recognition of Colombia’s contribution to peace, reconciliation and social institutions. Some of these included:
- The ‘Línea Lanza’ programme provides professional psychological advice for the law enforcement.
- The ‘De Cero a Siempre’ (‘From Zero to Forever’) is a comprehensive care strategy for young children, supporting their right for protection, health, nutrition and early education.
- ‘Colombia Humanitaria’ (‘Humanitarian Colombia’) assists in the prompt recovery of the people affected by flooding in 2010-11.
