London – September 2011. At the invitation of the Catholic Herald and the Friends of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, the Delegate for Great Britain and Ireland, HE Mr Anthony Bailey and other Council Members attended a reception in honour of His Eminence William Cardinal Levada, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith held at Archbishop’s House in Westminster.

The Ordinariate has been established to support Anglicans wishing to enter into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church whilst retaining aspects of their Anglican heritage. The Ordinariate is comparable to a diocese and its head, the Ordinary comparable to a diocesan bishop.
