His Royal Highness The Duke of Calabria


His Royal Highness Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Calabria, is the Hereditary Prince of the Royal House ofBourbon Two Sicilies. As such His Royal Highness will at some future date succeed his father, HRH The Duke of Castro as Head of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies and as Grand Master of the internationally recognised dynastic orders pertaining to theRoyal House. Currently The Duke of Calabria is Grand Prefect of all the dynastic Orders of Knighthood of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies and travels widely promoting and representing the Order throughout the world.

His Royal Highness was born in Saint-Raphaël on 24 February 1963 and studied at the Institute of the Marist Fathers in Toulon and later at the College Stanislas in Nice,France. After studying at the Université Internationale Libre of Paris, the Duke of Calabria worked for three years in New York in a leading public relations company.

Returning to Italy, His Royal Highness carried out several professional activities at leading Italian industries and corporations. The Duke of Calabria is fluent in Italian, French and English.

For many years now he has takena keen and active role in the management and direction of his Family’s businesses and estates. As Grand Prefect, The Duke of Calabria has been personally managing the charitable, humanitarian, hospitaller and spiritual activities of the Sacred MilitaryConstantinian Order of Saint George in Italy as well as internationally.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Calabria


Her Royal Highness, a daughter of an Italian industrialist, was born in Rome on 5 April 1971.The Duchess of Calabria studied in New York, at the Marymount High School, and later at New York University. After living in Switzerland, Paris and Mexico, Her Royal Highness now principally lives in Rome and Naples as well as in Southern France and Monaco. The Duchess is fluent in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Japanese.

The Duchess of Calabria has always supported charity associations, including UNICEF and the Red Cross, and she is an active public figure, which promotes the arts, culture and sport of southern Italy. Her Royal Highness plays a prominent role in the national and international activities of the dynastic orders of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies especially those that relate to charitable and humanitarian assistance.

Among others, the Duchess of Calabria has been awarded the following decorations:
