cross_constantinianRome – July 2003. In the prestigious surroundings of the Protomoteca Room in the Campidoglio His Eminence Mario Francesco, Cardinal Pompedda, the Order’s Grand Prior, and His Royal Highness The Duke of Calabria, Grand Prefect, received the International Prize “Fountains in Rome” which is organised by the International Academy “La Sponda”. The President of the Academy is Dr Benito Corradini.

The 2003 Award honours the birth of the great European Family, and takes into consideration the Christian roots of our continent and recognises those who worked diligently and professionally in trying to bring closer, on a human level, personalities of culture, art and business. Together with the senior officers of the Constantinian Order, His Eminence Francszek Cardinal Macharasky, Primate of Krakow and Maestro Giancarlo Menotti, Founder of the Festival of the Two Worlds of Spoleto, also received the award. The event was held in collaboration with the Italian Prime Minister’s Office, the City of Rome, and under the Patronage of the Region of Lazio.
