Rome – October 2003. An investiture of new knights and dames into the Constantinian Order and of the Royal Order of Francis I took place in the residence of the American Ambassador to the Holy See, His Excellency James Nicholson. His Royal Highness The Duke of Calabria, Grand Prefect of the Constantinian Order, accompanied by the Grand Chancellor, HE Marchese Aldo Pezzana Capranica del Grillo, delivered the diplomas to newly invested Knights.
A few days later, the knights and dames of the American Delegation attended the General Audience presided over by His Holiness Pope John Paul II, in the Paul VI Audience Hall in the Vatican City. The visit by the United States delegation concluded with a Mass at the Pontifical American College in Rome.
