westminster-abbeyLondon, November 2011. An evening service was held at Westminster Abbey on 13 November 2011 attended by the Delegate HE Mr Anthony Bailey and presided over by Lord Carey of Clifton, Chairman of the United Church Schools Trust and United Learning Trust.

It included the premiere performance of the King James Bible Oratorio, commissioned and donated to UCST and ULT by Sir Ewan & Lady Harper to mark the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible and composed and conducted by Howard Goodall CBE. Sir Ewan is a Knight Commander of the Royal Order of Francis I.

The piece was performed by students from both UCST schools and ULT academies and proved to be a moving occasion for all concerned.

The Constantinian Order is a supporter of ULT and through one of its members, Mahmoud Khayami, sourced several million pounds to fund the building of two new Academies in Sheffield.
